The kind of sharing and growth DesertSong seeks to nurture is not about money.
It can only be done by people who want to see the Folk Arts flourish, and who are willing to work to make it possible.
Therefore, DesertSong is an entirely volunteer, not-for-profit organization.
Volunteering for Desert Song is fun and rewarding.  Some jobs happen before or after our events, some during.  Take your choice.
Volunteering now gives you a chance to help plan the future of Desert Song.

SKILLS NEEDED:
Most jobs require no specialized skills.  We are looking for responsible, energetic, enthusiastic folks who love Live Music and other folk arts.

People with artistic ability, whether in performance, visual or other creative areas, will have some special opportunities.
Technical abilities like Web Design, Theatrical Production, Sound Reinforcement and Recording, Graphics and Printing, and Construction will always be well-used.
Anyone with experience in Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, Proposal Writing, Grant Writing or Management will find challenging opportunities.

YOU have skills we can put to good use, but only if you volunteer.
Kids 12-18 are encouraged to apply, with parental consent.
